My Internet Marketing Superheroes

As a Shoestring Marketer, it is important that every dollar and every minute are spent well. Learning from other marketers is critical, and following marketers who not only know their stuff, but who are also trustworthy is crucial to your success. What follows are six of my Internet Marketing Superheroes, who all fit the criteria I set out in my previous blog post: Are There Any Internet Marketing Superheroes? This is by no means a complete list. It is simply a list of those marketers who have gone the extra mile to helping me along my internet marketing journey. Some may not even know the positive influence they have had on my business. Might that not be a good definition of a SuperHero?
1. Kim Roach. Kim is an amazing traffic guru. If you want to learn about how to drive traffic, Kim is the person to learn from. I am what she considers a ‘raving fan.’ I have bought most, if not all of her products. She fits the model of both Shoestring Money and Shoestring Time. Her products help you save time and are extremely affordable. She over-delivers in a big way. I belong to her membership site and have recently purchased her newest product the Traffic Dashboard. (To see my review of this product, check out this blog post.) I think she is the only marketer whose email I open without fail. They are jammed packed full of high value information. When Kim was just starting out I would email her with questions I had about a blog post or a product and she would always answer. Now that she is very well established, she still answers her email. She truly wants to help people succeed.
2. Matt Wolfe. Matt is the creator of the WordPress Classroom, a free product that contains dozens of videos about the ins and outs of WordPress. If you want to know anything about WordPress, he’s the man. I met Matt in Alex’s Jeffreys’ coaching course, where he consistently helped anyone who needed help. He continues to help other marketers even as he grows in popularity.
3. Jason Fladlien. Jason is the creator of many, many products including the 7 Minute Article, the 48 Hour Report, and my all-time favorite Shoestring Time report, Double Your Productivity for Life. Everything he produces is brilliant. His free reports are easy to follow and filled with actionable techniques to move your business forward. I have purchased many of Jason’s products and every one over-delivers. His emails are packed with information and are entertaining as well!
4. Alex Jeffreys. I know Alex through his coaching course ‘Marketing with Alex.’ Although not inexpensive, I would put Alex’s course under a Shoestring Time category. His coaching cuts through all of the clutter and takes you right to the heart of internet marketing, saving you months, perhaps years of frustration. Through his course I not only learned about internet marketing, but I was also able to network with many fabulous marketers — which is truly priceless. If you have the opportunity to work with Alex, and if you can fit it into your budget, you will find that it is money well spent.
5. Kieren McDonogh. Kieren is a marketer that I have just recently come across. He is the creator of the Back Against the Wall audio series that is just fantastic. He, too, has created a product that over-delivers and is very reasonably priced. It is one of the best products I have ever purchased. In his interviews with marketers such as Jason Fladlien, Chris Farrell, John Rhodes, Jit Uppal and many others he asks them how they would create $1000 in 30 days if they had no site, no email list and only $300 to work with. The series currently includes 10 marketers and he continues to add new interviews, complete with transcripts, over time. I think Kieren is definitely a marketer to watch. He is doing great things and I am sure that he will continue to do so. He is also very responsive to email questions and in general, is a really good guy.
6. Dennis Becker. Dennis is the mastermind behind the Earn 1K a Day membership site and the 5 Bucks a Day ebook. His membership site is an amazing resource of free products that you can download for your own personal use and helpful marketers that seem to be able to answer any marketing or technical question that you can imagine. Some of the products you can also give away or sell. His desire is for you to easily make back the price of membership through the knowledge and products that you have access to every month. With all of the support, it is pretty easy to do much better than that — with many members Earning 1K a Day! I belong to several membership sites, and this one is worth every penny plus so much more! Dennis is truly one of the good guys — he does everything he can to make sure that you succeed.
So, to recap, if you want to succeed in internet marketing, you cannot go it alone. You need to learn from the best. My Internet Marketing Superheroes are people who create products that are priced reasonably and over-deliver, market ethically, and truly care about others’ success. Those marketers profiled here, meet these criteria and have helped me and my business in numerous ways. I am learning the business from their products and even more valuable for me, from watching how they create their business. Because of them, I know that it is possible for me to be an Internet Marketing Superhero as well.
So who are some of your Internet Marketing Superheroes?
Until next time ~

Hi Norene,
What a fabulous idea! I fully agree with your definition of IM Super Heroes. Must check out your no. 1.
One of mine is Mark Dickenson who publicises his products (there are only a few) on the Warrior Forum (here is the link to one of them: http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-special-offers-forum/111311-backlink-bully-2-11-new-videos-added.html ). Really good stuff and extreme value for money.
I look forward to more of your IM Superheroes, Norene.

I think you missed one out there… Parkesy.
The amount of work he has done behind-the-scenes for Alex Jeffreys is phenomenal. His ethics are unquestionable and his talent is undeniable.

Thanks for your post Gary! I don’t know Parkesy. I knew there were lots of great marketers out there! And you have helped Alex tremendously as well!
Parkesy? As in Schmarkesy? aka Garry Parkes, the man without whom MWA wouldn’t function, Alex wouldn’t record his webinars… and we wouldn’t be here.
Of course you know Parkesy, Norene.
