Norene,

Thanks for the list. I will be checking out those free stock photos! Another great freebie is the free trial of Market Samurai - my favorite keyword research tool. Highly recommended!

Thanks Bolaji! I agree! I LOVE picnik.com and use it all the time. Once you have created one product, it is as if the floodgates just open up! I have created several now, and I have a list a mile long of those on my to-do list! It's fun and such a great sense of accomplishment! -Norene

This is a handy tip! Thanks, Norene. :)

I don't create eBook covers that often...
but I think that may be partially because of the technical expertise, and expensive software, typically needed.

What you've shared here seems to get rid of both of those obstacles. Neato. :)

KEEP THOSE SHOESTRING TIPS COMING!
Our meager budgets thank you! LOL!

p.s. Slightly (but not completely) related - for other general purpose graphics for one's blog, consider using http://www.Picnik.com. Picnik is a FABULOUS and FREE online image editing tool. I use it to create a header graphic for each of my new blog posts.

1 - I typically do an image google search on the topic I'm writing about,
2 - Find a fitting image (I try to find a funny one... but I also have a soft spot for mountain climber images...)
3 - Then, I import it into Picnik.com, and use their text tool to add the title of my blog
4 - Then, the images show up nicely in my archives page, and also are a nice way to get the blog reader in the right frame of mind as they start reading!

http://www.WhoIsBolaji.com/archives (you can see from the thumbnails that I use images on all my posts).

Cheers, and thanks for the tip!
